Faq

It is possible to reserve a camper pitch in advance via the website. However, this is not mandatory, but it can be a smart choice in certain situations, especially during busy periods or special events. In the calendar on the reservation page, you can view the occupancy.

Availability calendar: % occupied per night from 11:00 AM on the day itself, displayed with green to red bars.
Example: 100% on April 8 = occupied from April 8 (after 11:00 AM) to April 9 (departure before 11:00 AM). Reservation from April 7 to 8 is still possible.
Note: white-colored days fall within a special offer with fixed dates, which are adjusted automatically where needed.

Directly reserve & check in at our location: that can be done via the tablet at the covered check-in counter or through the page reserve of our website. You will receive a reservation number, which you will need for payment. Then take a walk around and choose a spot. If you want to pay the total amount in cash: take an envelope at the check-in desk, fill in the details, and drop it in the mailbox on the door behind the building. If you want to transfer the total amount: the bank details can be found at the check-in desk.

You have reserved in advance: you can immediately take a walk and choose a spot. Haven't paid the full amount in advance: the (remaining) balance can be paid in cash or transferred as described above.

You can arrive from 11:00 AM.

Please make a spot available at 11:00 AM for the next guest, so they can arrive on time and there is enough time for preparations to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone. We assume that you will leave the campsite undamaged and clean.

Late departure 18:00 PM: in consultation, you can stay until 18:00 PM on the departure date. We charge a fee of € 10,- for this.

Extension (additional night(s)): book additional nights via the page reserve of our website or at the check-in desk in the same way as your previous reservation and enter your 'old' departure date under arrival date (or extension date). Choose the same number of people and dogs (unless your group changes during the renewal period).

Directly reserve & check in at our location: kindly settle the total amount immediately, either in cash or via bank transfer (we do not have a card payment device). Payment details can be found at the check-in desk and in your confirmation e-mail.

You have reserved in advance: kindly pay the amount upon arrival in cash or via bank transfer in advance (we do not have a card payment device).

If you have extended your stay, please add the extension amount to the total amount of your previous reservation if you have not yet paid this (in full).

With a reservation, you are securing a place in your name, but not a specific numbered camper spot. Each reservation is for one place. For practical reasons, we cannot guarantee a specific spot in advance. We appreciate your understanding. We believe in the freedom of choice based on the principle 'First come, first served.' Upon arrival, you can choose any available spot that suits you. Do you need multiple places? Please make separate reservations in each name.

At +/- 23:00 we lock the gate. You can then no longer enter the grounds with a camper or car. We do this to keep unwanted visitors out. At +/- 7:30 AM we open the gate again. If you want to come back later, arrive earlier or leave earlier, please let us know. We can then discuss how to solve this.

There is a pedestrian/bicycle gate that can always be used with key.

We also close our indoor showers, sinks and toilets from 23:00 PM to 7:00 AM during the summer and to 7:30 AM during the winter due to burglary protection. If in your case it is necessary to open the sanitary facilities earlier, this can be discussed. In any case, the toilets and sinks outside will remain open.

Our motorhome site is open all year round. The outdoor sinks and dishwashing area may be closed in case of frost. The outdoor toilets are not closed in winter.

Dogs are allowed if they are kept on a lead at all times and let out outside the campsite. If you bring a dog, we charge a fee of € 1.50 per dog.

The Fen is not a bathing water. So unfortunately it is not possible to swim in it. Fishing is not allowed either.

We actually want as few rules as possible and assume that you will use our motorhome site and surroundings in the same way as you would like others to treat your belongings and keep them clean. What we aim for is tranquillity and enjoying the beauty of the surroundings.

In our studio there is the possibility of free painting including material rental and painting workshops can be booked on request for groups of at least 6 people. Contact us for the possibilities.

For the time being, the Apartment (with separate bedroom and double bed) cannot be booked separately but is only available in combination with friends or family who (want to) stay at the campsite with a camper van but do not have a place to sleep. Bed linen is provided. You cannot book the apartment through our reservation system for campervans. Please use the e-mail form under Contact or call us.

For the well-being of both people and animals, we do not set off fireworks at Blij Venneke. We are aware of the negative impact that fireworks can have on the health and well-being of our guests and the animals in the surrounding area of our camper site and we choose to create a calm and safe atmosphere.
